Association of British Turkish Academics’ 7th Annual Lunch will be held in Cambridge on the 19th of November 2016, Saturday. This gathering at each academic year became a long awaited occasion among many colleagues who seek to develop new friendships and networking with fellow academics.
ABTA 2016 Annual Lunch will take place on the 19th of November 2016 in the Upper Hall of the Jesus College, University of Cambridge. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in a beautiful medieval style hall in the company of fellow academics followed by a delightful historical tour of the city.
This year, as the keynote speaker, Professor Neil Harris, head of Centre Atmospheric Informatics and Emissions Technology in Cranfield University, will address the audience on "Climate Change: What does the Future Hold?".
Regrettably, Prof John Pyle will be unable to attend the lunch due to the unexpected death of his very close friend.
ABTA is delighted to invite all academics and researchers in the UK to join us on this very special occasion.
The admission fee (Academics: £25, Students: £20) covers the refreshments during the reception and a two-course lunch.
Event reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and online registration is required.
